As part of the national School Games initiative schools are asked to blog online as to what they are doing in line with PE and sport. This process allows teachers to provide information to national partners around their delivery of specific programmes for the chance to win prizes.
The Arches SSP in the spring term were in the top 5 areas in the country, out of 420 for the amount of schools engaging with this and have been awarded with a prize bundle to help further our experiences at competitions and festivals. Prizes included a trophies and medals as well as an iPad, camcorder and other prizes that will be used as incentives to engage schools in further competitions over the next academic year.
Beck Primary School, Rivelin Primary School, High Green Primary School and Pye Bank CE Primary School were also chosen as winning schools and son direct irises that will help support their school sports days this summer. We are encouraging schools to now blog around Leadership this term to be in with a chance of winning more prizes.
