Arches Schools win Sheffield Handball Finals
Arches Schools win Sheffield Handball Finals

A long handball season for our schools has come to an end in April with both the Sheffield Y3/4 and Sheffield Y5/6 Finals taking place at Forge Valley School and Parkwood Academy after Easter.

From our cluster competitions the winners progressed to the city finals and the hard work that schools have been putting in definitely paid off.

Nethergreen Junior School take this year's title for Year 5/6 winning every game in their competition. Shooters Grove then did the same winning all their games against teams from across the city to be crowned the Year 3/4 City Champions.

The standard gets better every year and this year has been no exception. The Arches have seen over 25 school teams compete at both age groups and lots of sessions taking place ins schools throughout the city to prepare teams for the events.
